Adjective (คำคุณศัพท์) เป็นคำที่ใช้ประกอบคำนามเพื่อบอกลักษณะของคำนามนั้น ๆ เพื่อแสดงถึงคุณสมบัติ แสดงจำนวน หรือแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของ โดยมีหลักการดังนี้

1. วางไว้ข้างหลังคำกริยา verb to be ตัวอย่างเช่น
Mr. Somsak is tall and handsome. His house is big.
His garden is beautiful. The roses are red.
The jasmines are white. The orange is orange.

2. วางไว้ข้างหน้าคำนาม ตัวอย่างเช่น
Mr. Somsak is a rich man. He lives in a big house.
He lives with his loving family. There is a beautiful garden.
There are many red roses . I have a small dog.

A. คำสั่ง : ขีดเส้นใต้คำที่ถูกต้องจากในวงเล็บ

1. The ( poor , rich ) man has a lot of money.
2. A cube is ( round, square ).
3. Giraffes have ( short , long ) necks.
4. A ( happy , sad ) girl always smiles.
